85 new positive tests for Covid-19 were reported by the Vermont Health Department on Monday.  There have now been 3,714 total cases and 63 deaths. There were 5 new positive tests on Windham county, for totals of 199 cases and 3 deaths.

New Hampshire’s Health and Human Service department reported 445 new positive test results for COVID-19, Monday, for totals of 18, 042 cases and 512 deaths.  There were 11 new positive tests in Cheshire county, for totals of 446 cases and 3 deaths.

18 newly confirmed deaths and 1,785 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts.  The confirmed cases since March statewide is 201,835, and deaths number 10,299   In Franklin county, 4 new cases for a total of 592 with 75 deaths.

Brattleboro Police are currently attempting to locate a runaway juvenile by the name of Allyssa Norman. Allyssa is a 16-year old female listed at approximately 5’2”, 100 pounds. Norman is believed to be in the area and not in any known danger. If you have any information on Allyssa’s where abouts please contact the Brattleboro Police Department at 802-257-7950.

Because of Covid-19, the Windham County Sheriff’s office will not be conducting it’s yearly Toys for Kids drive at the Market 32 plaza in Brattleboro this year. The Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Dover Police Department, will be accepting donations in COVID-friendly boxes located in their lobbies. They ask anyone with the means to do so, to please drop off their donation at either agency by December 18th.  The Windham County Sheriff’s Office will then collect the donations and deliver them to the Marine Corp League for disbursement.

The Vermont Council on Rural Development is now offering it’s popular Community Visit Program virtually. This program has helped many communities throughout the state and the region identify community priorities and opportunities for improvement. Most recently they worked with the Town of Rockingham, and they’ve worked with Guilford and Vernon in recent years. information is available at vt rural dot org/.

Vermont State Police have begun outfitting all uniformed troopers with body-worn cameras, culminating a multi-year process to secure the necessary funding and fulfilling a commitment to Vermonters to deploy the devices. State police launched an effort in 2015 to add body-worn cameras for all troopers to supplement the cruiser dashboard camera systems that have been use since 2000. Leaders have been working with the Legislature ever since to acquire the body-worn cameras along with the required companion systems to store the video footage.

Monday Night Football last night, an up and down night for Tom Brady, as Brady was intercepted twice by the Rams, and the Rams win on a field goal by Matt Gay, who was cut by Tampa Bay in the offseason, he kicks the game winner as the Rams beat Tampa Bay, 27-24.
