86 new positive Covid-19 tests were reported in Vermont Sunday, for totals of 3,629 cases with 63 deaths. In Windham county, there was one new case, for a total of 194 positive tests and 3 deaths.

322 new positive test results for COVID-19 and four deaths reported in New Hampshire Sunday. To date, there have been 17,598 cases of Covid and 512 deaths. There were 12 new cases in Cheshire county, for a total of 435 cases with 3 deaths. 

24 newly confirmed deaths and 2,721 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts.  The total number of confirmed cases since March statewide is 200,050., with 10,281 confirmed deaths. There were 9 new positive tests in Franklin County, for totals of 588 positive tests and 75 dead.

This will be a short week for many. with the Thanksgiving holiday weekend just days away. Windham Southeast schools are open today and tomorrow, with school closed on Wednesday. Most Government offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week. Everyone eats will be providing a Thanksgiving meal for anyone in need in Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Putney and Vernon, Wednesday between four and six.

Vermont’s agency of agriculture is working to support the food supply chain with the Working Lands Enterprise Grants. Grant descriptions must demonstrate how the project will positively impact multiple businesses or have supply chain impacts. Grant awards are $25,000-$50,000 and first round applications are due December 6th. 

Snowmobiliers can still enjoy the sport in Vermont this winter amid the coronavirus pandemic as long as they abide by the governor’s emergency orders. Out-of-staters can come to Vermont and snowmobile if they quarantine for 14 days in their second home or rented home in Vermont, according to the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers. They can also quarantine for seven days and then get a negative COVID-19 test report to carry with them on the VAST trails This winter, riders must stay in their family groups, follow social distancing and wear masks whenever they take off their helmets

New Hampshire’s congressional delegation has sent a letter to Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, asking   that he extend the authorization and cover 100 percent of the costs for the New Hampshire National Guard. The extension and 100 percent reimbursement would enable the New Hampshire National Guard to continue its support of the fight against COVID-19 through March 31, 2021. Funding is currently authorized through December 31 of this year. The Guard is expected to play a major role in staffing vaccination sites when vaccines becomes available. 250 members will be needed to staff sites and manage increased state warehousing operations.

Deshaun Watson put on a show Sunday afternoon at the Patriots expense. Watson threw for over 340 yards and a couple of td passes as the Texans and old friend Romeo Crennell, who is the interim coach for Houston, beat England, 27-20. The ‘Pats host Arizona next Sunday, kick-off is at 1pm.
